PREMIUM FOAM THERAPEUTIC SURFACE

Our NSC2000 is constructed from a single unit of open cell Soy Medi-Foam. The unique mushroom cut of the Soy Medi-Foam allows for anti-wicking breathability and pressure redistribution for the Patient/Resident. With a cover consisting of a 4-way stretch for easy removal, a zipper overlay for infection control and an expandable polyester thread fibre that imbeds itself to material this fabric is completely fluid proof. Our unique PTRS (patient transfer rail system) reduces friction during Patient/Resident transfers and roll out fractures. With an anti-slip, surgical grade base material of Grip X and a Recovery 5 top, the NSC2000 allows for easy slide during emergency procedures, while allowing anti-slip for precision articulation.

We Use Only Soy Medi-Foam…Why?

This neutralizes the off gassing smell that irritates Patients/Residents, as well as reducing heat retention which is the largest complaint from 100% petrochemical based products. Our unique PTRS System can reduce the friction rate while transferring Patients/Residents at the same time allowing the Patient/Resident to easily get out of the bed. NSC Medical does not cut corners when it comes to fire prevention by using fire barriers as a cost effective method. We only use Fire Rated Foams providing guaranteed results with no compromise in Patient/Resident, Nursing Staff and Facility safety.

Cover: NSC2000 covers are made with Recovery 5, a surgical grade 4-way stretch top which reduces heat buildup and provides a low shear, non-friction surface, that is anti-microbal and waterproof. A 16 oz Anti-Slip Grip X bottom provides low anti-friction rate for Patient/Resident transfer.

Therapeutic Surface: NSC Medical is conscientious of our carbon footprint, providing Soy Foam, Soy Visco and Soy Gel Hybrid Foams as an alternative to 100% petrochemical based products.

I was very pleased with the comfort of the NSC firm mattress and the bed's many adjustable features. He went above and beyond to make sure that I was able to get a bed for my mother in a short time frame. The crew that delivered and set up the bed were polite, professional and efficient. The bed is great. My mom says it’s really comfortable and she is happy with it. Finally the bed looks great. It doesn’t look like a hospital or care home bed. We purchased the bed with Shawn, who was attentive to our needs and got the job done with great professionalism. I started out with looking at it on the Costco website, but read in a review to contact Nsc to get it delivered quickly with white glove service! Shawn took the time to understand what our needs were for my mother and provided the best mattress solution for her specific needs. Not everyone should expect Shawn, one of the managing partners to take your call on the weekend at his kid’s basketball game but he took mine! He answered my questions about the comparison between another mattress I was interested in and an NSC Medical. Following that conversation, I put my order in. Although I ordered my mattress and box spring via Amazon I received the mattress but not the box spring due to a glitch in inventory. I called NSC Medical explained my situation and Shawn found a box spring for me and had it delivered as soon as possible. Very helpful and much appreciated. It is so comfortable and customizable; the mattress doesn't get super hot and that was one of my main concerns in reading other adjustable bed reviews.  It is the best investment!

I recently purchased a Pressure Balance Latex System mattress. I had the opportunity to apply a promotional code  entitling me to a additional 10% discount. Unfortunately, I failed to claim my rebate during the check out process. The original price of the mattress was already a great deal. I contacted NSC soon after checking out and explained my mistake, not expecting much. To my surprise, NSC agreed to apply my discount after the fact. I know many businesses that would have pushed back and refused to honour their promotional rebate. I have a lot of respect for NSC's client relation service. I can only expect the best from my new mattress.
